Governmental Constitution of The International Indian Affair

Constitution of the International Indian Affairs (IIA) High Council

Preamble

We, the members of the International Indian Affairs High Council, united by our commitment to the First Nations and Indigenous communities worldwide, establish this constitution to guide our efforts in promoting Indigenous Rights, Research, Education, and the Gentrification of Natural Law and Principles. Our aim is to launch and support global humanitarian missions, focusing on the welfare and sustainability of Indigenous peoples and their natural environments.

Article I: Name and Purpose

  • Name: The organization shall be known as the International Indian Affairs (IIA) High Council.
  • Purpose:
  • To promote and protect the rights of Indigenous peoples in accordance with the First Nations or Law of Nations.
  • To facilitate research, education, and the gentrification of natural law and principles.
  • To provide water purification treatment center demonstrations to small villages across the globe, from the United States and Ethiopia to Australia.
  • To support independent Canadian Bands, Clans, and Tribes.
  • To develop lasting community partnerships with international corporations and coalitions that support human wellness and sustainability for treaties and NGO-styled activities.

Article II: Membership

  • Eligibility: Membership is open to individuals and organizations that support the mission and goals of the IIA High Council.
  • Application: Prospective members must submit an application to the Membership Committee for approval.
  • Rights and Responsibilities: Members are entitled to participate in council meetings, vote on issues, and contribute to the development and execution of council initiatives. Members must uphold the principles and objectives of the IIA High Council.

Article III: Structure and Governance

  • High Council: The High Council is the governing body of the IIA High Council and shall consist of elected representatives from various regions and Indigenous communities.
  • Executive Committee: The Executive Committee, consisting of the Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson, Secretary, and Treasurer, shall oversee the day-to-day operations of the IIA High Council.
  • Committees: The High Council shall establish standing and ad-hoc committees as necessary to address specific areas of focus, including but not limited to Water Purification, Indigenous Rights, Education, and Community Partnerships.

Article IV: Meetings

  • Annual General Meeting: The IIA High Council shall hold an Annual General Meeting (AGM) to review progress, set priorities, and elect representatives.
  • Regular Meetings: Regular meetings shall be held quarterly to discuss ongoing projects, initiatives, and any other relevant matters.
  • Special Meetings: Special meetings may be called by the Chairperson or at the request of a majority of the High Council members.

Article V: Decision-Making

  • Quorum: A quorum for decision-making shall consist of a majority of the High Council members.
  • Voting: Decisions shall be made by a simple majority vote of the members present at a meeting. Each member shall have one vote.


Article VI: Finances

  • Funding: The IIA High Council shall secure funding through donations, grants, partnerships, and other sources consistent with its mission.
  • Budget: The Treasurer, in consultation with the Executive Committee, shall prepare an annual budget for approval by the High Council.
  • Financial Accountability: The IIA High Council shall maintain transparent financial records and conduct annual audits to ensure accountability.

Article VII: Amendments

  • Proposal: Amendments to the constitution may be proposed by any member of the High Council.
  • Approval: Proposed amendments must be approved by a two-thirds majority vote of the High Council members present at the AGM or a special meeting called for this purpose.

Article VIII: Dissolution

Procedure: In the event of dissolution, the High Council shall ensure that all remaining assets are distributed to organizations with similar objectives, as determined by a two-thirds majority vote of the High Council members.

Article IX: Ratification

Adoption: This constitution shall be adopted upon approval by a two-thirds majority vote of the founding members of the IIA High Council.
